Planned self-contained, family accommodation to provide supportive care for cancer patients and their relatives in Hoppers Crossing.
RoCan relies on on the Community and Business sector to help fund its initiatives. RoCan is pleased to provide some annual fundraising events and also regular special events. These provide a pleasurable and rewarding experience for all of those who participate.
RoCan is a trust fund developed by the rotary Club of Williamstown with the objective of running Community Cancer awareness and prevention campaigns. It has a primary focus to provide self-contained family accommodation for cancer patients and their relatives. RoCan has been privileged to contribute a significant amount to several worthwhile projects that meet this objective paragraph.
ROCAN WELLNESS and ACCOMMODATION CENTRE
RoCan's main focus is to build a state of the art self-contained, family accommodation to provide supportive care to cancer patients and their immediate family from rural and regional Australia.
This will provide a sanctuary when patients have to come to the rarea to obtain specialist cancer treatment. This is to be located at Riverwalk Village Park, Werribee, Victoria where there is a pressing need for such a service.
